Many of my photos are taken with a 35mm Canon Rebel and either developed at the local photo center or by me in the dark room, Due to my recent apprenticeship with Jarvis photography I now have access to Digital Canon equipment and more advanced editing software, though all editing is simplistic and practical in a darkroom(not including recent portraits which have extensive retouching), this is 100% my work and none of it should be used without my permission or credit, i hope you enjoy my photos and perceptions of light, criticism is appreciated as well as comments thanks :)

My name is Nathan and I was born and raised in South Lake Tahoe NV/CA. I've been practicing photo and film for over 6 years now and have taken multiple classes all of which include developing my own work. This is not the fancy gallery that has amazing colors and contrast only created by photoshop or some other photo editor. Due to a recent association with Jarvis photography I now have access to Digital equipment.. along with all the basic and complex techniques of photography... the only editing done on my photos is basic touch ups each of which are practical in the dark room(not including recent portraits which are retouched based on the market's demand). I hope you enjoy my photos, they incorporate my emotions, thoughts and perceptions.. thanks for checking out my page, now it's time to check out my photos, enjoy and please comments and critique is welcome.. thanks :)

Nathan, is "easy" to make nice pictures when you are using the great sceneries in your backyard :)

yeah! i love your work :) it's all pretty amazing. you're pretty lucky to live in lake tahoe....so many photo opportunities! i'm hoping to live up there sometime in the near future.

how do you get your film photos on to deviant art? do you use a film scanner or do you print large format copies and then scan them in? thank you
